All programs of study lead to a baccalaureate degree
and/or an "A" teaching license. They include:
B.A. in Child &

Birth-Kindergarten licensure option

(grades K-6)
Students choose one concentration or one minor
B.A. in Middle Grades Education
(grades 6-9)
Students choose two of the following concentrations:

the College of Education offers professional education coursework that lead to
licensure to teach in the following areas of Secondary Education (grades 9-12):

In collaboration with the Department of
Languages and Culture Studies in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the
College of Education offers a minor in Foreign Language Education and
licensure(grades K-12) in the following areas:
Second Language Education
It is approved for
implementation Spring Semester 2010.
