| Graduate Certificate programs are university-based graduate programs that do
not culminate in a degree; however, certain programs may be “rolled over” into
master’s degree programs. Students in Graduate Certificate programs are eligible
to apply for financial aid at the graduate level. Each Graduate Certificate
program is an organized body of coursework that may or may not lead to a
recommendation for a North Carolina professional education license. If you
complete a Graduate Certificate program that is related to licensure, you may
apply for that license through our
Office
of Teacher Education Advising and Licensure. To receive the Graduate
Certificate diploma and be eligible for the commencement ceremony, you may apply
through the
Graduate School.
